Dr. Andrew Kane is an AWS Principal Solutions Architect based out of London,
and his PhD back in 1997 was on VLSI Architectures for Neural Networks on On-Chip Learning.
He works for AWS primarily in the Retail and Financial Services verticals within the UK,
but his deep technical interests in Artificial Intelligence, Networking, Edge Security and
Data means that he helps customers with their cloud solutions across multiple verticals around the world.
He is a keen karate enthusiast, aiming for his black belt in 2020, and has also been bitten by the running bug.
He also brews beer a lot, using automated brewing hardware and other IoT sensors.
